Someone who is toric is a genderqueer person who is attracted to men. This does not have to be exclusive, like how achillean doesn't have to be exclusive.

While genderqueer people can use the word veldian or gay if they want to, not all genderqueer people attracted to men will want to.

Genderqueer women attracted to binary men may not feel that their attraction is gay, but nor is it straight. Hence they would use "toric".

Some masculine or male-aligned genderqueer people might prefer language that emphasizes that they are not a man. Therefore, they would prefer "toric" over "veldian".
