This page demonstrates what our identity templates look like. In particular, it explains how we list and describe certain information.

Some pages will have a link to a full list of identities (usually a "xenogender hoard" of some kind) and/or a link to an "identity statement" (a page in which the headmate in question describes what their identity is in their own words).

(This section either links to a graphics page with blinkies, buttons, and emojis of your pride flags or else is just three hearts as a divider. Flashing warning for the graphics pages, which is why they are separate.)

This part lists all the pronouns this headmate uses. They can be listed in any order, e.g. alphabetical or by preference.

Primary labels you identify with and consider the most important terms you use. These are most likely to be the ones you have a pride flag icon of in your PluralKit. These are also the ones where we are more likely to have in-depth descriptions of what they mean to us, including words like "man" or "woman".

Secondary labels you identify with. These might be more niche ones, including specific xenogenders. However, sometimes people consider a more niche label (e.g. kenochoric) to be a primary label, so it depends. These are less likely to be written about at length, but anything listed here is intended to be written about at somepoint.

Themes for xenogenders (and neogenders, but anything that a neogender can be about, so can a xenogender). The links in this section will take you to pages explaining how we feel each thing in a gendered way or how it affects the other parts of our gender. It will also potentially contain a list of collections of genders that fit that theme.

While this section is called "xenos", the genders in the lists on the individual pages are not always xenogenders, and we are not saying they are xenogenders just by listing them on that page. We are using "xeno" as a noun to refer to a theme that a gender can be about, including a xenogender. However, a xeno can also be the subject of a non-xenic gender, and if a gender is not xenic, then it is not xenic, even if it is connected to something that we describe as a "xeno". "Xeno" is the most convenient word we have to refer to these themes regardless of the genders associated with them. If you have issue with this, you are free to coin your own word to describe "the subject of a non-binary gender", but we cannot guarantee we will use your language instead of ours.

Somebody's primary alterhuman identities. This can include fictotypes and fictional species. If someone is an extranth, their species would be in this category, but it can also include very heavy kintypes, or sometimes delusions that are part of alterhuman.

Alterhuman identities that are more secondary. Normally these are kintypes, but can also include synpaths. While there is a more specific media section, this also includes fictional species sometimes if you're not a specific character of that species.

Alterhuman identities that have to do with media. Sometimes, we don't count fictional species as this, because this is moreso about specific fictional identities, and most fictional species can relate to things that aren't fiction, too.

This includes things like system roles, but also terms about how the headmate formed. This is separate from roleics, which are considered their own thing to us.

"Roleic" is a term we coined to describe an identity in which your role or existence in the system is connected to a certain thing, where that thing may not be your role in and of itself. This section lists the things themselves rather than the names of the roleics (e.g. "dogs" instead of "dogroleic").

Something you have a strong affinity for and would consider part of your identity, but neither kin, synpath, nor any other label you can think of seem to fit. See this page for more info.

Identities you have because of the innerworld narrative but may not have for their own sake or outside of that. See this page for more info.

Things that affect large parts of your identity. This section lists the things we consider ourselves to be vesil with rather than the coined labels for them.

Whatever this headmate's spirituality is. Pages will contain elaborations on their beliefs or practices.

In-system relationships they have. Lists the names of headmates and what kind of relationship it is, as well as what label they use for it.
